I think that Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart provides insights about the ways in which a specifically targeted audience might create a difference or not create a difference in the mind of the writer. There can also be a situation when the writer might not target a specific genre of audience. In such a situation, there can be questions raised by readers about the language used in the piece of writing. However, in such situations, the writer cannot be blamed because the writer might not always be in a position to translate.
